What certifications do PEL Power products carry?
PEL products carry ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 transformer lab accreditation, CE Mark for distribution transformers, switchgear, and energy meters. Products are type tested by internationally recognised STL member labs: distribution transformers and energy meters by KEMA Netherlands, power transformers by VEIKI Hungary, and switchgear panels by KERI Korea. Full documentation is provided with every RFQ response.
Can PEL Power provide full type test reports for project qualification?
Yes. Type test reports from KEMA (Netherlands), VEIKI (Hungary), and KERI (Korea) — the three internationally recognised STL member labs used for PEL product type testing — are available upon request. These are provided as part of the standard documentation package for project procurement teams.
What is the typical lead time for export orders to the United States?
Lead times vary by product type, rating, and quantity. Standard distribution transformers typically have shorter lead times than custom power transformer orders. Our export team will provide specific lead time commitments in the commercial proposal — within 48 business hours of receiving your RFQ with specifications.
Can you supply products to specific US project technical specifications?
Yes. PEL routinely manufactures to customer-specific technical requirements. Power transformers and distribution transformers can be specified to custom MVA ratings, voltage levels, cooling types, and accessory configurations. Switchgear and meters can also be supplied to project-specific requirements. Please include your technical specification in the RFQ form.
What IEC standards are the products designed to?
PEL products are designed to applicable IEC standards: MV switchgear to IEC 62271-200; power and distribution transformers to IEC 60076 series; LV switchgear to IEC 61439; and energy meters are DLMS/COSEM protocol compliant. How is quality verified at the factory before dispatch?
Every transformer unit undergoes factory acceptance testing in PEL's ISO/IEC 17025-accredited transformer testing laboratory — PNAC audited annually. Routine tests are performed on all units; type tests are available for reference. Full factory test records accompany each shipment along with a certificate of conformity.
