PEL Power exists to bring Pakistan's most advanced electrical manufacturing capability directly to US buyers — bypassing the complexity of sourcing from unknown vendors and replacing it with the reliability of a 68-year manufacturing institution.

As the US-facing export division of Pak Elektron Limited, we operate with full access to PEL's certified manufacturing facilities, ISO-accredited testing lab, and an engineering team with deep experience across transformer, switchgear, and metering product lines.

Our History

68 years of continuous manufacturing growth — from Pakistan's first power transformer manufacturer to a modern, internationally certified power equipment exporter.

1956

PEL Founded

Pak Elektron Limited established on March 3, 1956 — listed on the stock exchange to manufacture power transformers in Pakistan as its first product.

1978

Instrument Transformer Division

PEL established its Instrument Transformer manufacturing division — current transformers and potential transformers — growing its power equipment portfolio.

2005

Power Transformer Division Launched

Extensive experience in distribution transformer manufacturing led to the establishment of the dedicated Power Transformer Division in 2005.

2009

New Distribution Transformer Facility

PEL established an independent, state-of-the-art transformer manufacturing facility at 34-KM Ferozepur Road with technical assistance from Pauwels, Belgium.

2019

KEMA Certification for Energy Meters

PEL achieved KEMA Laboratories certification for its energy meter product line — one of the most demanding independent quality validations in the industry.

2021

IAC Classification — Kiosk Substation

PEL became the first local manufacturer in Pakistan to attain Internal Arc Classification (IAC) certification on its Kiosk Substation product — a global first-in-market milestone.
